Sufficiently moisten fish for more efficient fish cleaning – Misting Of Fish Fogging Room

Developing in house capability of belt overhaul & joining – PABXI PVC Belt and Joining EquipmenT
The seafood plant originally used expensive good quality PU belts but had engineers flown in to join the PU belt due to its factory’s constraint of being in a remote location.
We recommended converting to our OEM PABXI brand of PVC belt together with the supply of a finger press and splicing equipment.
Factory technicians were familiarized with usage of the joining equipment and despite PVC having a shorter lifspan, the consequent reduction in costs in terms of external engineering installation costs, factory down time or lead time waiting for new PU belt , and direct material price reduction costs more than compensated for this.

Ensure Fresh Water drinking is delivered to worker dormitory – Pumping and dosing system
We were tasked to integrate and supply an intricate and customized design of pipes, valves, multistage pumps and motors to pump drinking water to suit the current factory terrain and surroundings to deliver clean water to a worker dormitory. Our engineers got to work immediately and we are eager to see the project through to fruition coming 2023.

Saving upfront material and shipping costs with modification with ROI on moving equipment – Forklift push pull attachment and usage of paper/plastic slipsheets in place of pallets

Ensuring reliable movement of seafood between precookers and retort stations – Customizable stainless steel food trolleys with collapsible shipping option

Improving auto labelling and packing line productivity for canning operations – Conversion from roll through to rotary with pick and pack packing
Most canning companies know the the burt roll through labellers (or their doppelgangers) intimately as tough and resilient machines. However, some are getting impatient with the lack of productivity, low tolerance of labelling and lack of spares due to obsolescence. We at Tuna Services feel that the “one machine one can can width” problem – ie the inflexibility of not being able to do role change (change can size) on one single roll through machine is a definite deal breaker. As such we have always been supporters of a rotary labelling system with a rear pick and pack option to eradicate the above said problems for canning factories plus saving on manpower.
